Bill Krejci - Intentional Interim Pastor
Pastor Bill specializes in Intentional Interim Ministry and is effectively functioning as the full time minister at MDLC while at the same time providing advice and guidance to the congregation as it moves forward to a new era in the life of the Church. What Pastor Bill calls "the interim process" is now in place and is in the early phases of its execution.
The interim process is designed to help the congregation prepare for the future and provide advice and assistance in ultimately calling a new senior pastor to the church.
Prior to Pastor Bill's arrival on July 1st, Memorial Drive Lutheran church was honored to have Bishop Michael Rinehart present to lead Worship Service on June 15, 2008. He delivered an energetic, animated and uplifting sermon based on the new testament scripture for the day. He focused on the Apostle Paul's letter to the Romans, Chapter 5: Verses 3-5. "And not only that, but we also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us."
