Prayer Chain The Prayer Chain receives and provides confidential prayers for family and friends.
Stephen Ministry Confidential Christian care giving provided by trained lay members of MDLC called to care for others in times of need.
Good SamaritanThe Good Samaritan group coordinates food and funeral/memorial service receptions held at the church.
Augustana food drive A food collection to stock Augustana Lutheran Church´s food pantry is held the third Sunday of each month. Donations may be left in the allocated bin in the Narthex.
Lutheran Helping Hands An apartment ministry which provides affordable housing for out-of-town families that are receiving extended medical treatment in Houston.
CanCare This ministry provides one-on-one support to those struggling with cancer.
Memorial Assistance Ministry (MAM) This ministry provides emergency assistance to the less fortunate in the Spring Branch/ Memorial area; includes a food pantry, job bank, back-to-school program, ESL school and resale shop.

Care Team This caring ministry provides various assistance such as in-home sitting, weekday transportation, etc. to MDLC members in need.
Westside Homeless Partnership (WHP) This ministry seeks to prevent and end homelessness for families by providing resources and support services that lead to self-sufficiency.
Lutheran Marriage Encounter Lutheran Marriage Encounter promotes better communication in marriages in an effort to strengthen the relationship. Weekend retreats offered several times a year.
Crop Walk The Crop Walk is held annually each Fall to help local and international hunger programs.
Mission of Yahweh The Mission of Yahweh provides food, clothing and shelter for abused women and children. MDLC supports this mission by delivering extra food from Fellowship events; giving extra clothing and toy items from the garage sale, supporting service projects, and providing additional benevolence donations.
Life Enrichment Committee The Life Enrichment Committee provides opportunities and supports programs to meet the needs of our members and those in our community; focuses on sharing and caring for others. Meets monthly, first Thursday, 6:30 p.m.
